Breaking: Buhari And Osinbajo Declare Their Assets--See How Much They Are Worth

President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have finally declared their assets publicly.This was done as a result of the growing pressure from the public for them to do that within the first 100 days in office.


President Buhari had N30 million in his account before assuming office on May 29, while osinbajo had N94 million, $900,000.

The president owns five houses in Kaduna, Daura,Kano and Abuja an also owns two undeveloped plots of lands,one in Kano and the other in Port Harcourt,according to his asset declaration forms.

President Buhari also has farms,an orchard,ranch,livestock including 270 cattle,25 sheep,5 horses a variety of birds and a number of economic trees, according to the statement. He also has an unstated number of cars.

It added that President Buhari “had shares in Berger Paints, Union Bank and Skye Bank”.

Vice President Osinbajo owns a four-bedroom residence at Victoria Garden City (VGC),Lagos and a 3-bedroom flat at Ikoyi.


He also has a 2-bedroom flat at the popular Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and a 2-bedroom mortgaged property in Bedford, England.


“Apart from his law firm, known as SimmonsCooper, the Vice-President also declared shareholding in six private companies based in Lagos, including Octogenerium Ltd., Windsor Grant Ltd., Tarapolsa, Vistorion Ltd., Aviva Ltd. and MTN Nigeria.
“His personal vehicles are one Infinity 4-Wheel Drive SUV, one Mercedes Benz and a Prado Jeep.
The Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity,Mr Garba Shehu,said the documents are still being vetted and will be released soon to the public to see for themselves .
