Fatima Bello Dangote, the adopted daughter of the chairman of Dangote Group and Africa’s wealthiest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has died.
Fatima, who was also Dangote’s niece, died on Friday, October 2nd, in a private hospital in the United Kingdom, after a 2-year battle with brain cancer.
Fatima was the daughter of Alhaji Bello Dangote, the billionaire’s younger brother who died in the ill-fated plane crash alongside Ibrahim Abacha in 1996.
Fatima has been buried in London according to Islamic rites.
